A Business Built Around More Than The Bottom Line.

Charitable giving is not a campaign at FundaDream. It is a core part of how we operate.

FundaDream directs a portion of its corporate revenues to youth athletic organizations on a periodic basis — because we believe the revenues of financial services should serve more than the firm that earns them.

When you work with a FundaDream financial professional and purchase a life insurance or annuity product, a portion of the revenue FundaDream earns is set aside — tagged, tracked, and directed to a vetted youth athletic program in your community. You didn’t have to give anything extra. You simply chose where to do the planning you were going to do anyway.

Why FundaDream Gives

FundaDream was built around a conviction that the work of financial planning should leave the world measurably better than it found it. The revenues generated through FundaDream’s financial services operations carry a responsibility — to the communities those operations serve and to the young people growing up in them.

FundaDream directs a portion of its corporate revenues to charitable giving on a periodic basis. That giving is focused on youth athletic organizations — because we believe the habits that build strong athletes build strong financial futures, and because access to sport, coaching, and competition should not be limited by a family’s financial circumstances.

This is not a transaction-based program. It is not a consumer benefit. It is a corporate commitment — made at the discretion of FundaDream leadership, funded from FundaDream’s general operating revenues, and directed to organizations that have been carefully vetted and confirmed as IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) charitable organizations.

How The Giving Works

FundaDream generates revenues through its financial services operations. A portion of those revenues is allocated to FundaDream’s charitable giving fund on a periodic basis, as determined by FundaDream leadership.

Gifts are made from that fund to vetted, IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) charitable organizations whose missions align with FundaDream’s charitable focus on youth athletics and community development.

The giving is made entirely at FundaDream’s corporate discretion. No consumer, policyholder, or financial professional has any right to direct, request, influence, or receive any benefit from FundaDream’s charitable giving. The giving creates no entitlement, no consumer benefit, and no inducement to purchase any financial product or service.

The size, timing, and recipients of FundaDream’s charitable gifts are determined by FundaDream leadership based on available revenues, organizational vetting results, and community need — not by individual transaction volume or any specific policy or premium dollar amount.

The Giving Process - How FundaDream Selects Recipients

FundaDream’s charitable giving process is designed to ensure that every dollar directed to a youth athletic organization reaches a legitimate, well-run program that is genuinely serving young people in the communities FundaDream operates in.

Step 01  Revenue Allocation

FundaDream allocates a portion of its general corporate revenues to its charitable giving fund on a periodic basis. This allocation is made at the discretion of FundaDream leadership and is not tied to any individual transaction, policy, premium, or client relationship.

Step 02  Organization Identification

FundaDream identifies youth athletic organizations serving communities within its operating footprint that may be candidates for charitable gifts. Organizations are identified through community research, professional relationships, and ongoing monitoring of the youth athletic landscape in the communities FundaDream serves.

Step 03  501(c)(3) Verification

Before any organization is considered for a gift, FundaDream confirms that the organization holds valid IRS 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. Organizations without valid 501(c)(3) status are not eligible to receive gifts from FundaDream’s charitable giving fund. This requirement ensures that all gifts are made to recognized charitable organizations in compliance with applicable tax and regulatory requirements.

Step 04  Organization Vetting

FundaDream reviews each candidate organization for financial integrity, community presence and standing, appropriate use of funds, and mission alignment with youth athletic programming before approving it as an eligible recipient. Approved organizations are subject to periodic re-review to ensure continued eligibility.

Step 05  Gift Authorization

Gifts to approved organizations are authorized by FundaDream leadership. Each gift is documented, the recipient organization is notified of the contribution, and the gift is recorded in FundaDream’s charitable giving records.

Step 06  Periodic Giving Report

FundaDream publishes a periodic report of its charitable giving activity — identifying the organizations that received gifts and the general nature of FundaDream’s charitable mission. This report is a general corporate transparency disclosure and is not a notification to any individual consumer or financial professional.

Organization Vetting Standards

Every organization approved to receive a gift from FundaDream’s charitable giving fund must meet all of the following standards:

Valid 501(c)(3) Status

Active IRS tax-exempt status confirmed directly with the IRS and current at the time of the gift. Proper state registration and good standing as a nonprofit organization under applicable California and local law.

Financial Integrity

Evidence of responsible stewardship of charitable funds. Available financial disclosures, Form 990 filings where applicable, and organizational financial practices are reviewed to confirm that funds are used to support the organization’s athletic mission.

Community Presence & Active Programming

A demonstrated history of providing youth athletic programming to the community — active teams, leagues, or programs currently operating and serving young people with meaningful access to sport and coaching.

Mission Alignment

The organization’s primary purpose must be providing young people with access to athletic programs, coaching, competitive opportunities, and the developmental experiences that organized sport delivers.

No Disqualifying Events

No current or recent loss of tax-exempt status, regulatory findings, legal proceedings, or other circumstances that would reflect adversely on FundaDream’s association with the organization.

Ongoing Eligibility Review

Approved organizations are subject to periodic re-review. Organizations whose circumstances change in ways that no longer meet FundaDream’s standards will be removed from the approved giving list.

What FundaDream's Giving Supports

Youth athletic organizations that receive gifts from FundaDream’s charitable giving fund use those resources to deliver programs that make a tangible difference in the lives of young people.

Registration fees that allow young people from families of limited means to participate in organized athletics alongside their peers. Equipment that makes a sport accessible and safe. Field and facility maintenance that keeps programs running. Coaching resources that make the experience developmental rather than merely recreational.

These are not abstract outcomes. They are the specific differences between a young person who had a team and one who did not. Between a child who discovered what they were capable of on a field and one who never had the opportunity. FundaDream’s giving is designed to fund those differences — systematically, responsibly, and in communities where the firm’s financial services work is also taking place.

What FundaDream's Giving Is Not

In the interest of full transparency, FundaDream’s charitable giving program is not any of the following:

Not a consumer benefit

No consumer, policyholder, or applicant receives any benefit, consideration, or value from FundaDream’s charitable giving. The giving does not accrue to any individual client relationship and creates no entitlement for any person who purchases or considers purchasing a financial product through FundaDream’s network.

Not a transaction-based program

Gifts are not triggered by, tied to, or calculated based on any individual insurance transaction, premium payment, or policy placement. They are made from general corporate revenues at FundaDream’s discretion on a periodic basis.

Not a financial professional benefit

No financial professional who partners with FundaDream has any right to direct, influence, or receive any benefit from FundaDream’s charitable giving. The giving does not constitute additional compensation or consideration of any kind to any licensed insurance professional.

Not an inducement to purchase insurance

FundaDream’s charitable giving is a corporate value and a business model commitment, not an inducement offered to any person in connection with the purchase or consideration of any insurance product or annuity.

The FundaDream Giving Commitment

FundaDream’s commitment to charitable giving is built into the firm’s operating model — not as a marketing exercise, not as a promotional campaign, and not as a benefit offered to any individual client or professional partner.

It is the expression of a conviction that the revenues of financial services should serve more than the firm that earns them. That the communities in which financial professionals do their best work deserve a return on the trust those communities extend. And that the young people growing up in those communities deserve access to the experiences that build the character, discipline, and resilience that a life well lived requires.

FundaDream gives because it believes that is what a financial services firm with genuine values does. Not because it is required to. Because it has chosen to build a firm that means something beyond the transaction.

Small decisions. Giant leaps. A firm that gives because it believes it should.
